Through many years of caring for animals, my life has been blessed by many four-legged babies from whom I have learned so much. Dogs and horses have dominated my heart from a young age, but through the years, my pet family has consisted cats, birds, guinea pigs, rabbits, hampsters, turtles, chameleons and even snakes. Having three sons, there's not much that makes me squeamish. My current family of awesome dogs is old man Magic (senior) who is a rescue lab/coonhound mix, princess Ruby, the pug, and Chee Chee, the rescue mystery hound mix puppy. All three of my babies bring great joy as they accompany me on walks to the river, playing chase around the yard and snuggling up on the couch. It's so rewarding when I meet other people's pets and establish a bond so that they become MY furry friends, too!
