Background & Experience:

Owned and operated by Karen Ballard and Heather Huston. Karen and her husband, Jason, have 6 beautiful greyhounds and 3 cats, all rescued/adopted. They are actively involved with Greyhound Adoption of Greater Cincinnati (GAGC) and have been fostering greyhounds for over two years now. Both grew up with animals and have taken care of dogs, cats, rabbits, hamsters, guinea pigs, gerbils, bird, and horses for the past 25 years. Since Heather was 2 years old, she's always had a pet. She's cared for cats, dogs, birds, raccoons, fish, gerbils, mice, rabbits, chinchillas, reptiles, and ferrets. She quotes, “My life would be empty without a furry creature in it!” Heather has experience working in an animal hospital as a veterinary technician assistant. She plans to continue her education in the animal behavior science field as she wants to devote her life to working with animals. With her years of experience, dedication and passion for animals, rest assured your pet will not only be well taken care of but will also be loved and treated as if it were her very own!
